The flu…is here.
So much to do about the flu! I am often asked about the “immunization”; should I do it? Well I am not your personal medical professional so I won’t make a blanket statement about what you should do about the flu shot. I will tell you that when you are healthy, and your immune system is strong, even if you get a dose of the flu, you will quickly recover. The flu does not stay around in healthy environments.
Let’s ask a better question: What can I do to reduce my chances of getting the flu? Well, not rocket science here, but this is my quick daily recommendations:
Wash your hands every time you go out and at a minimum of three times a day.
Take nutritional supplements. Whole food based. No matter how healthy you eat, you won’t get enough healthy enzymes, minerals and vitamins from the foods you eat.
Sleep more. Even if it is just another 10 or 15 minutes. Sleep does help the body recover from the day, the stress, and all the other things we do.
Drink more water. It cleanses the body.
Finally, stop reading about it...it only makes the situation seem worse :)
