Do you have a Mysterious Illness?

If you are having aches and pains, dizziness, digestion issues, balance issues, sleeplessness, or other inconvenient symptoms you will probably visit with your doctor to “diagnose” the problems. And they will do their best to make a decision and then prescribe one of the many drugs available to “fix” the problem. And the diagnosis can land in a myriad of categories: stress, fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue, depression, lupus, MS, ADD/ADHD, adult onset diabetes, and more.  But millions of Americans are finding that they are not “fixed” with the drugs. They usually come up with yet another problem.

If you are one of the many Americans who are suffering but not getting relief there are three probable causes:

1.      The medications are creating a worse symptom than the original problem ( this is fairly often)

2.      You have been mis-diagnosed.

3.      The tests that have been taken are flawed.

The latter happens frequently. And for my friend Sharon, she was mis-diagnosed for YEARS. She was given the diagnosis of fibromyalgia, tumors on her spine, neuropathy due to poor circulation, Lupus, and more.

What did she have all along? After multiple tests, the doctors were inconclusive. But what she discovered through the nagging suggestion of another friend was to get yet another test, which the doctors do not endorse. She had to “demand” this test. And discovered that the initial, most common test for LYMES Disease, OFTEN misses the mark. If you have the above symptoms and are lost in your medical notes and appointments, consider the Western Blot test, for diagnosis. And get the results in WRITING. Then take them to a Lyme specialist. The sooner you are diagnosed, the better your chance for healing.
